A second commission from Factory International, In Suspension built on the relationship developed through Monolith. The brief called for a work that operated in direct dialogue with the spatial memory of the venue.

The production team worked from the memory of the first installation, designing a system that referenced its predecessor while introducing new temporal elements. Projection mapping was introduced alongside the existing lighting infrastructure.

In Suspension achieved critical recognition and was cited as a reference project for immersive cultural commissions in the North of England. VSS delivered the project on a compressed timeline without compromising technical quality.
