Brief

PYRA is an original immersive installation developed by VSS as a tourable work designed to deploy on standard rental equipment globally. The installation was developed as part of the ongoing R&D programme at VS Immersive in East Belfast.

Approach

The technical architecture was designed from the outset to be portable and scalable. All systems were specified against standard rental stock, enabling deployment in any market without custom logistics. The creative concept was developed through a series of residencies at VS Immersive.

Outcome

PYRA premiered at VS Immersive in 2024 and is currently available for international commission. Two international enquiries are in negotiation as of Q1 2026.
